Linda has been with Archaeology Southwest since 1999. She brings a background in archaeology and nonprofit development and management to the position of Deputy Director. She received her M.A. in anthropology from the University of Arizona (1986), where she was a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellow with a research focus in zooarchaeology. Her archaeological experiences include fieldwork in South Dakota, New Mexico, Cyprus, and Arizona. Since 1993, Linda has been a nonprofit development and community relations professional. Before joining Archaeology Southwest, she worked for more than five years at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, where she coordinated the Museum’s membership program, special events, and annual giving campaign.
