In partnership with the Western National Parks Association, Archaeology Southwest announces a series of four lectures, “You Are Here: Understanding Who Came Before Us in This Place (and Why That Matters).”

In the third lecture in our series, special guests Bernard Siquieros (Tohono O’odham Nation) and Melissa Kruse-Peeples (Native Seeds/SEARCH) will join archaeologists Bill Doelle and Matt Peeples for a discussion of the reciprocal relationship between archaeology and O’odham heritage for understanding how people have grown and gathered food and other resources in the Sonoran Desert.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Call Western National Parks Association at 520-622-6014 to reserve your seat.
