Celebrate Oro Valley: Then & Now

April 13 – 15, 2018
Celebrate Oro Valley is new, annual event, designed to celebrate the community we love. This year’s theme, “Then & Now” will highlight the Town’s founding year of 1974, showcasing the following pillars of our history.

• Arts & Culture
• Science & Technology
• Sports & Recreation
• Landscape & Wildlife
• Leadership & Direction

Allen Denoyer and Hands-On Archaeology will be onsite for Day 2 of the festival:

Saturday April 14

Experience horses, livestock and ranching activities that the Leiber family enjoyed during the late 60’s and mid 70s. Reminisce about what exciting things were happening in Oro Valley and at Steam Pump Ranch since 1974.  Attendees will also enjoy:

  • Art shows highlighting art from Oro Valley and the Ranch in the 1970’s
  • Leadership and educational displays
  • Petting zoo and pony ring
  • Kids activities and craft projects
  • Beer garden
  • Food trucks and the Northwest Firefighters Association BBQ
  • James D. Kriegh meteorite display
  • Live music:
