Panel of Southwestern Archaeologists to Discuss “From Above,” Answer Your Questions

Tucson, Ariz., December 23, 2011 —Enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, and a special panel discussion by archaeologists Ethne Barnes, Arthur Rohn, Jeff Dean, and William Doelle at the free closing reception for From Above: Images of a Storied Land. Archaeologists will share insights on the content of Adriel Heisey’s breathtaking large-format aerial photographs and answer questions from the audience. The program will be held at the Ventana Gallery beginning at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. The galleries will be open from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on that evening. The exhibition closes on January 7, 2012.

Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., with the administrative support of the Southern Arizona Art and Cultural Alliance (SAACA), is proud to share this exhibition in the Ventana Gallery, the largest free gallery in southern Arizona. The gallery is located at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc., 1910 Innovation Park Drive, in Oro Valley, Arizona.

Viewing hours are on the first and third Saturdays of each month, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or by appointment. To arrange a visit to the Ventana Gallery, please contact Pat Deeley at SAACA, 520-797-3959 ext 9.

Ventana received the 2009 Pima County Arts Council Lumie Award for outstanding business partner in support of the arts.
