Lisa Jensen is the Development Coordinator for Archaeology Southwest. She has years of development and customer service experience across a variety of fields including nonprofits, museums, Public Libraries, and the private sector. In her previous role as Membership Manager at Tucson Museum of Art, she saw firsthand how membership and philanthropy can play an active role in building community and supporting an organization’s outreach efforts. Lisa looks forward to meeting Archaeology Southwest’s dedicated members and donors, learning more about Preservation Archaeology, and seeing this amazing region from a different perspective.
Lisa studied Fine Art at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. The College of Art instilled a foundation of curiosity, innovation, and intuitive creativity, though she holds no degree. She continues to make art in her home studio and finds that having a creative mind can be a great asset to her professional life.
