The Soldier Creek Survey: A Cultural Resources Survey on the East Range, Fort Huachuca Military Reservation, Cochise County, Arizona (TR2003-4) (PDF)

Desert Archaeology, Inc., was subcontracted by Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc., to conduct a pedestrian survey of the Soldier Creek watershed on the East Range of the Fort Huachuca Military Reservation. Previously known sites were relocated and remapped, previously surveyed areas were sample surveyed, and a large area which had never been surveyed was transected at 100 percent coverage. The Soldier Creek survey was conducted between 23 September-17 October 2002, and 11-21 November 2002. The Soldier Creek survey relocated 25 previously recorded sites and identified 27 new sites. Five previously known sites in the project area could not be relocated.
