The Graveyard Gulch Survey: A Cultural Resources and Geomorphological Survey on the East Range, Fort Huachuca Military Reservation, Cochise County, Arizona (TR2003-3) (PDF)

Archaeology Southwest (formerly the Center for Desert Archaeology) undertook a pedestrian survey of the Graveyard Gulch watershed on the East Range of the Fort Huachuca Military Reservation. Previously known sites were relocated and remapped, previously surveyed areas were sample surveyed, and a large area which had never been surveyed was transected at 100 percent coverage.

The Graveyard Gulch survey was conducted between 22 April 2002 and 16 May 2002. Twenty-six previously recorded sites were relocated, and 26 new sites were identified. Fourteen previously recorded sites in the project area could not be relocated. A geomorphological assessment of the Graveyard Gulch watershed was conducted as part of the project.
