This document provides an overview of research at the Julian Wash site, a description of direct and indirect impacts from the proposed construction, a brief history of preservation with examples of archaeological applications, and a detailed plan to preserve the archaeological deposits outside the areas of proposed construction impacts. The plan contains specific measures to be followed during the construction phase, removal of the existing Interstate 19, the landscaping phase, and long-term site protection.
