Archaeological Data Recovery at the Tortolita Vistas Site, AZ AA:12:271 (ASM): A Hohokam Fieldhouse in Marana, Pima County, Arizona (PDF)

Prior to construction, data recovery was conducted at the Tortolita Vistas site, AZ AA:12:271 (ASM), a fieldhouse site situated on the upper bajada of the Tortolita Mountains in the northern Tucson Basin. The project was conducted to comply with cultural resource regulations of the City of Marana. One pit structure and five extramural features were encountered. Ceramic analysis dates the site occupation to Middle Rincon (A.D. 1040-1080).
