Archaeological data recovery in advance of proposed construction within the Coolidge Substation. Western proposes to add electrical equipment at Coolidge Substation (Stage 9), which includes the construction and installation of a new 230/69-kV transformer, two 230-kV bays, at least one 69-kV bay, a new capacitor bank/reactor, a new cable trench and cable duct, a new prefabricated office building (including a septic system), grounded chain-link security fences, and a 350-foot-long concrete block retaining wall, as well as modifications to the existing control house and existing cable trenches.
