Andy Laurenzi, Southwest Field Representative

Andy Laurenzi is Archaeology Southwest’s Field Representative. In his current position, Andy manages our cultural resource protection efforts in Arizona and New Mexico. Andy’s position was established in partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Andy’s prior experience includes five years with the Sonoran Institute, where he was the Land and Water Policy Program Director. Prior to that, Andy spent seventeen years with The Nature Conservancy of Arizona, where he oversaw the Conservancy’s land and water protection and government relations activities. Andy is currently serving as vice-president on the board of the Arizona Native Plant Society.  Andy has a B.S. in Biology from Fairfield University and M.S. in Ecology from Arizona State University. He lives in Tucson with his wife and two children.
