Preservation Archaeology in the Lower Colorado River Valley
For the past decade, Preservation Archaeologist Doug Gann has been active in several archaeological research and preservation projects in communities along the Little Colorado, including Casa Malpais National Landmark in Springerville, Homol’ovi Ruins State Park in Winslow, and Sherwood Ranch Pueblo (formerly known as the Raven Site). Sherwood Ranch Pueblo is currently owned and protected by The Archaeological Conservancy.
