Site Summary: Located within the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area, the U.S. Army Quartermaster’s Depot distributed material from California to military posts in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Texas. The site was also a telegraph and weather station for the Army Signal Corps.
The Visitor Center features a museum of transportation with a 1907 steam locomotive.
