Site Summary: A place where prehistory and history converge, “Inscription Rock” at El Morro exhibits fascinating rock art panels engraved by both the ancestors of the Pueblo peoples and Spanish explorers.
Highly defensible ruins are perched atop a 200-foot-high sandstone monolith. A short trail provides access to the pueblo site.
