Gaming Pieces from the Clearwater Site
On page 9 of Archaeology Southwest (Vol. 24, Nos. 1–2), archaeologist Ralph Koziarski writes about his studies of these small pieces of cut and polished bone and stone. These possible gaming pieces have been digitized (converted to three-dimensional data) for presentation as 3D models that can be displayed over the Internet. Take a moment to examine these objects found underground in Tucson—and consider what kinds of ancient games might have included these tokens.
