Become a Patron of Archaeology Southwest

Members and donors who support Archaeology Southwest at the Patron level ($500/year) are invited to our Tea and Archaeology series at Tucson’s historic Arizona Inn. These Sunday afternoon high teas provide an unparalleled opportunity to meet leading scholars and authors in southwestern archaeology.

This year’s series features three intriguing presentations:

  • In April, Lindsay M. Montgomery (University of Arizona) will discuss Nomads in the Tribal Zone: Conflict and Compromise in Eighteenth Century New Mexico
  • In September, Lyle Balenquah (Hopi, member of the Greasewood clan from the Village of Bacavi on Third Mesa) will discuss Hopi Migration Traditions and Archaeology
  • In November, Dr. Randy McGuire (Binghamton University) and Elisa Villalpando (Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia, Sección de Arqueología) will discuss The Archaeology of Sonora

Your gift of $500 or more guarantees an invitation for you and a guest to all three Tea and Archaeology lectures. Donate online, or call Linda Pierce at (520) 882-6946 x23 to make your gift over the phone. Or, mail a check (made out to Archaeology Southwest) to Archaeology Southwest, 300 N. Ash Alley, Tucson, AZ 85701.
