Gaming Piece 2

This gaming piece was made by grinding a small piece of animal bone into an almost-thumbnail shape and then polishing this shape smooth on the top edge. The piece was then embellished with grooves and small dots. These markings are reminiscent of markings on dice and dominoes, which leads many to think that these objects were used in games.
